As part of Weightmans’ ambitious growth plans to become a top 30 UK law firm, we are looking to further strengthen our Family practice with the appointment of a Family Partner in our Liverpool office. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Family lawyer to play a key role in building and developing our established national Family team, contributing to both regional and national growth while delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.

Our highly regarded, multi‑location national Family team includes a number of lawyers recognised in Legal 500, Chambers and Spear’s 500, supported by strong client testimonials and a reputation for technical excellence. We act for a diverse and high‑quality client base, including high‑net‑worth individuals, C‑suite executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, landowners, professionals, international clients, sportspeople and those in the entertainment industry, and their partners or spouses. The team benefits from the strength of Weightmans as a full‑service firm, allowing us to offer joined‑up, strategic advice across private client, corporate, property, employment and dispute resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a high quality Family practice in Liverpool aligned with national strategy
- Attract and deliver quality family and other client referrals through internal and external relationships.
- Lead business development and profile‑raising activities locally and contribute to national initiatives
- Manage a strong personal client practice, including complex and high‑value matters
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across offices and practice areas
