We are looking for a Solicitor to join the team in Leeds.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for cases with minimal supervision
- Achieve set financial and chargeable targets
- Assist other lawyers in the team with their work, including supporting lead advisers and the supervision of more junior lawyers
- Conduct advocacy at pre‑inquest review hearings and inquests where appropriate
- Produce monthly and ad‑hoc client MI reports
Qualifications
- Previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work
- Knowledge of how the healthcare regulators operate
- Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE)
- Advocacy experience
- A willingness to extend existing skills and develop expertise in this area of law
- A high level of commercial awareness
- Conscientious, self‑motivated, hardworking, responsive, with critical thinking, excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills
- A methodical, organised approach
- Passionate about growth and generating work opportunities internally and externally
- Focus on operational excellence and delivering great service and client experience
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and timetables, meeting targets and client protocols while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality
