PLEASE NOTE: This role is not on the list of occupations eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route The IT Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing BAU Level 1 support and maintenance across our IT estate.
The role demands a hands-on technical analyst who can deliver exceptional colleague IT experiences day to day, as well as maintenance and enhancement of IT systems such as Windows, Active Directory, SSO, Networking, M365, end point and device management, hardware, and security fundamentals.
The role requires excellent customer service skills as you will spend most of your day interacting with colleagues requiring assistance.
This position reports into the Service Desk Team Leader who is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Service Desk team, BAU support, deployment of any changes required and managing associated project work.
Your role centres on support and maintenance for our colleagues.
The role holder should have technical knowledge and ideally experience directly supporting colleagues or clients.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include
- Technical Operations
- Provide BAU support and resolve IT issues.
- Carry out maintenance tasks as required to maintain the performance and security of our estate.
- Security & Compliance
- Maintain systems that enhance organisational security posture.
- Ensure compliance with legal obligations, ISO standards, and internal security policies.
- Team Collaboration
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and outcome-driven culture.
