Join a Growing Renewable Energy Team
We're looking for experienced Solar PV Electricians to join a busy installation team delivering high-quality domestic and social housing solar PV installations across Swindon and the surrounding areas. With consistent work available and excellent day rates, this is a fantastic opportunity for skilled electricians looking for long-term renewable energy projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Installing domestic Solar PV systems
- Installing and commissioning battery storage systems
- AC & DC electrical connections
- Inverter installation and commissioning
- Consumer unit upgrades where required
- Testing and inspection of completed installations
- Fault finding and rectification
- Completing installations in accordance with BS7671 and MCS standards
- Working closely with roofing and installation teams
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Inspection & Testing Qualification (2391 or equivalent preferred)
- ECS/JIB Gold Card
- Previous Solar PV installation experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own tools and transport
Desirable:
- Solar PV Qualification (City & Guilds / BPEC)
- Battery storage installation experience
- MCS experience
- G98/G99 commissioning knowledge
- Experience working on domestic renewable energy projects
