About the Role:
As part of the New Scots in Stirling Project, you will support refugees and residents under immigration control in Stirling, helping them access welfare benefits and understand the UK benefit system. You will provide advice on income maximisation, budgeting, and welfare rights, utilising interpretation services as needed.
Team and Services:
- Advice Stirling: Provides money, debt, and benefit advice and advocacy.
- Forth Valley Macmillan Money Matters: Focuses on income maximisation for cancer patients and their families. The project also supports digital inclusion initiatives to enhance digital skills among clients.
Requirements:
- Membership of the PVG scheme for Adults.
- Ability to use interpretation services regularly.
Benefits:
- 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays, increasing to 35 after 5 years.
