As a food service worker in our Deli, you’ll work with other team members to ensure the freshest deli meats and cheeses are available for our customers, as well as provide easy meal and entertaining solutions. What will I do?
- Complete customer orders by slicing, packaging, and labeling products.
- Provide excellent service and answer customer questions promptly.
- Maintain fresh and appealing deli cases and self-service areas by cleaning, restocking, and rotating products for freshness.
- Unload deliveries, stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing inventory.

Work Environment: The physical demands are classified as medium. This includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours, repetitive grasping, hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and continuous customer and coworker interaction in a fast-paced setting. Items lifted typically weigh 5–20 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 35 pounds. Repetitive upper extremity movements and moderate to high twisting, bending, and pivoting are involved. Exposure to allergens and cold temperatures (33–55°F) is possible. Tools used include slicers, knives, scales, and packaging supplies. Customer service experience in food service, grocery, or retail is preferred.
