  • Lead the mechanical design of machinery, including stators, rotors, assemblies, upgrades, and retrofit projects.
  • Provide engineering leadership across all project phases, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
  • Use simulation and modelling tools to validate performance and compliance with requirements.
  • Oversee and participate in testing activities, both in-factory and on-site.
  • Carry out diagnostics, condition analysis, and life-cycle evaluations, producing clear technical reports.
  • Deliver service and maintenance support to ensure reliability and long-term asset performance.
  • Partner with tendering and project management teams on bids, proposals, and execution.
  • Develop and implement test methodologies for dynamic machinery testing, analysing performance data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong expertise in mechanical design, simulation, and testing methodologies.
  • Collaborate with CAD engineers and draughtsmen to review engineering drawings and support design and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient in diagnostics, failure analysis, and life assessment of machinery.
