The Data Engineer/ BI Engineer plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, the successful candidate will transform complex data into meaningful insights through modern Business Intelligence technologies, whilst ensuring robust, scalable, and secure data platforms. This role combines expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, and cloud technologies, with a particular focus on Power BI, Snowflake, Azure, and DevOps practices. The candidate will contribute to the development of data products, reporting solutions, and data pipelines that enable evidence-based decision-making and drive organisational performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions, reports, dashboards, and data products using Microsoft Power BI.
- Build and manage scalable data pipelines and data integration processes using Azure and Snowflake technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective reporting and analytical solutions.
- Support the adoption of data products and promote data literacy across the organisation.
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices to support continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of data and BI solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance.
