Role Description The Wedding and Events Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at Weetwood Hall in Leeds. This role is responsible for coordinating weddings, social functions, and corporate events from initial inquiry through to post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests. Daily tasks include managing event bookings, conducting show-rounds, preparing function sheets, liaising with couples and clients, and working closely with operations, catering, and front office teams to deliver events according to agreed specifications. The coordinator will handle event timelines, room layouts, and vendor communications, while monitoring budgets, upselling venue services, and supporting sales targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in event management systems, responding promptly to inquiries, and representing the venue with professional, guest-focused service at all times. Candidates should possess strong Event Planning and Event Management skills, including experience coordinating weddings or similar large functions. Candidates should possess outstanding Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, guest-centered experiences. Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, or events venues is highly beneficial. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple events simultaneously. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. Proficiency with basic office software and event management or CRM systems; knowledge of audio-visual requirements is an advantage. A relevant qualification in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
