The Recipe (About the Role)
- This role is designed to actively engage in sourcing activities that resonate with our category strategies, providing both tactical and strategic support across a range of category spending areas.
- Run RFx events and category-specific tenders aligned with sourcing strategies.
- Work on the creation and execution of category strategies and plans through analysis and insights.
- Lead review and negotiation of commercial agreements in line with procurement policy.
- Engage stakeholders to provide data-driven insights for category delivery and decision alignment.
- Coordinate supplier communications and manage bid documentation to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Track category performance focused on total cost of ownership and value delivery initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance and help SRM activities, including preparing scorecards and reviews.
- Build relationships with suppliers to enhance performance and value delivery.
- Maintain accurate category documentation such as contracts and supplier records.
- Provide ad hoc data acquisition and process support to category teams as needed.

- Procurement experience
- Sourcing, category management, tender management, and contract management experience
- Stakeholder management skills
- Ability to identify and leverage commercial opportunities
- Strong influencing skills and effective communicator
- Project management skills, able to manage multiple sourcing activities
- Knowledge of contract law and processes
- Experience in supplier performance management
