The Recipe (About the Role)

  • This role is designed to actively engage in sourcing activities that resonate with our category strategies, providing both tactical and strategic support across a range of category spending areas.
  • Run RFx events and category-specific tenders aligned with sourcing strategies.
  • Work on the creation and execution of category strategies and plans through analysis and insights.
  • Lead review and negotiation of commercial agreements in line with procurement policy.
  • Engage stakeholders to provide data-driven insights for category delivery and decision alignment.
  • Coordinate supplier communications and manage bid documentation to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
  • Track category performance focused on total cost of ownership and value delivery initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and help SRM activities, including preparing scorecards and reviews.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to enhance performance and value delivery.
  • Maintain accurate category documentation such as contracts and supplier records.
  • Provide ad hoc data acquisition and process support to category teams as needed.

  • Sourcing, category management, tender management, and contract management experience
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to identify and leverage commercial opportunities
  • Strong influencing skills and effective communicator
  • Project management skills, able to manage multiple sourcing activities
  • Knowledge of contract law and processes
  • Experience in supplier performance management
