The Communications & Engagement Coordinator helps with the delivery of internal communications and engagement activities, ensuring plans, content, events, and campaigns are coordinated effectively and delivered to a high standard.

The role helps provide clear, timely communication and a consistent employee experience across all sites and functions.

  • Coordinate communication plans and engagement activities, managing timelines, logistics, and approvals.
  • Maintain communication calendars, ensuring activity is aligned to business priorities.
  • Create and publish content across internal channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Gather and coordinate content from stakeholders to create communications.
  • Organise events, roadshows, recognition activities, campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
  • Work with employee surveys and feedback activity, managing communications, timelines, and reporting.
  • Track engagement metrics and provide simple performance insights.
  • Maintain communication assets, templates, and content libraries.
  • Ensure all communications align with brand, tone of voice, and accessibility standards.
  • Help the quarterly and annual Weetastar recognition programme, coordinating winner communications and updates.

Key Know How

  • Experience in administration, communications, marketing, or HR support.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good written communication and content editing skills.
  • Confident using digital communication and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to track metrics and produce simple reports.
  • Experience creating digital content, presentations, graphics, or videos.
  • Understanding of internal communications and employee engagement.
  • Ability to analyse engagement data and channel performance.
  • Knowledge of change communications and organisational initiatives.
  • Able to work with multi-channel campaigns with increasing autonomy.
