The Recipe (About the Role)

As Brand Manager, you will shape and deliver impactful brand programmes that drive consumer relevance, commercial performance, and long-term brand equity. The successful candidate will own high-quality activation, oversee brand profit and loss performance, and deliver portfolio changes—including innovation and renovation—with pace and excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to work across functions, using data‑led insight to inform decisions and manage multiple high‑impact projects. You will play a key role in evolving the brand over the next three to five years, embracing digital and Artificial Intelligence enabled insights, accelerating innovation, and building towards broader responsibility within the portfolio.

  • Develop and deliver annual brand plans aligned to strategy, ensuring all activity is executed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Own brand financial performance in partnership with Commercial teams, monitoring profit and loss, identifying risks and opportunities, and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of portfolio changes, including innovation, renovation, and product or packaging updates, ensuring high-quality launch execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with New Product Development, Innovation, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, and external partners to deliver seamless brand activation.
  • Manage agency partnerships (creative, media, and packaging) to ensure insight‑led, effective, and consistent outputs.
  • Track and analyse brand performance (including sales, market share, consumer metrics, and campaign results) to inform decision‑making and future plans.
  • Develop and deliver brand assets and communications, ensuring consistency with brand identity, tone, and strategic priorities.
  • Work with budget planning and management, including forecasting, phasing, purchase order management, and spend tracking.
  • Provide clear, consistent updates on performance, risks, and key milestones through accurate reporting and stakeholder communication.

Key Know How:

  • Experience in brand management, marketing or commercial roles within fast‑paced consumer sectors (e.g. Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods).
  • Strong understanding of brand planning, campaign activation and asset development.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into clear, actionable outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies and delivering cross‑functional projects.
  • Good financial awareness, including Profit and Loss performance.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
