We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager with a passion for brands and marketing to support the brand team in managing their portfolios across the 4Ps, forming a strategic framework to deliver value to customers and achieve business goals. The successful candidate will also support the execution of projects from inception through to completion and to deliver budgeted financial targets. The Assistant Brand Manager will also own several “in year” activations for the brand team and manage smaller P&Ls.
The Recipe (About the Role)
- Supporting both Weetabix Marketing Managers (Cereal and On The Go) and the Senior Brand Manager in delivering the Weetabix Brand Plans
- Working with commercial finance to manage and report on the Weetabix marketing budget
- Supporting the marketing managers on the development of future brand plans via our integrated commercial planning cycle (brand planning)
- Responsible for internal communication of brand activity and step changing our internal engagement plan across our administrative and manufacturing functions at all our sites
- Maintaining Weetabix’s suite of consumer and trade facing marketing assets; imagery, video and written for easy access by sales, marketing and corporate PR
- Maintaining Weetabix’s websites so they carry up to date, accurate and engaging information to drive traffic
- Managing artwork projects through the business, working with supply chain, legal and quality teams to ensure on time, in full delivery with minimal write off
- Ownership of one or two small sub brand P&Ls including performance reporting, insight and innovation and brand activation
- Supporting the brand team in collating data and development of presentation material
- General administrative duties including raising purchase orders, invoicing and co-ordinating team meetings & activities
- Manage relationships with external charity partners (e.g. Magic Breakfast / FareShare)

- Displays adaptability in a fast-paced environment: Comfortable managing changing priorities, supporting multiple campaigns, and responding flexibly to evolving marketing needs.
- Experience in a marketing environment: 1–2 years’ experience supporting marketing or brand teams, assisting with campaign coordination, content development, or project delivery.
- Collaborative team contributor: Works effectively with colleagues and external partners to ensure marketing initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with brand objectives.
- Organised and detail-oriented: Able to manage tasks, timelines, and campaign materials efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
