The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the future of Data and Artificial Intelligence at Weetabix. You will lead the development and delivery of our enterprise data, analytics and Artificial Intelligence strategies. This includes establishing strong governance, leading the Data and AI Centre of Excellence, and scaling the delivery of approved solutions across the business. Combining strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, you will ensure trusted, high-quality data foundations are in place while enabling teams to generate insights through a controlled self-service model. You will champion data governance, standards and best practice, empowering business teams to take greater ownership of reporting and visualisation, supported by robust data structures and oversight. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you will play a key role in preparing the organisation for the responsible, scalable and governed adoption of AI.
The Recipe (About the Role)
- Shape and deliver the enterprise data and analytics strategy, ensuring data supports business growth and decision-making.
- Lead the Snowflake data platform, providing trusted, high-quality data across the organisation.
- Enable self-service reporting through Sigma, Tableau and Microsoft Power BI, supported by clear standards and governance.
- Establish and lead Centres of Excellence for Data & Analytics and Artificial Intelligence, driving innovation, adoption and best practice.
- Champion data governance, ownership and quality, creating a culture of accountability and trust.
- Partner with stakeholders and specialist suppliers to identify, assess, govern and deliver scalable Artificial Intelligence solutions.
- Oversee complex and sensitive reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and effective risk management.
- Manage platform investment and performance, maximising value and commercial efficiency.
- Lead, develop and inspire Data Engineering and Analytics teams, building capability for the future.
- Design and embed an enterprise-wide data operating model that balances governance with business-led insight and innovation.

- Well-developed experience in Data warehousing, ideally with Snowflake.
- Experience with BI tools including Tableau, Sigma, and Power BI.
- Solid experience of governance (data and AI) and data quality frameworks.
- Experience of scaling up and bringing AI into organisations.
