The Recipe (About the Role)
As a welcoming presence on the factory floor, the EHS Advisor will provide essential EHS support, coaching, and guidance to help execute the cluster's manufacturing environment, health, and safety (EHS) strategy and standards. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring compliance with legal requirements while driving our ambition for zero accidents and zero environmental incidents.
- Implement the manufacturing EHS strategy and standards within the cluster.
- Ensure the internal audit program meets standards for achieving Green status.
- Support and coach factory teams in managing EHS processes, objectives, and performance indicators.
- Provide EHS expertise for new projects and change management.
- Maintain the incident reporting system, assist in investigations, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Keep accurate EHS information for stakeholders to enhance EHS practices.
- Act as deputy for the Cluster EHS Manager when needed.
The Ingredients (What we need from you)
- Demonstrable knowledge of EHS delivery in a similar role.
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Understanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances including experience with management systems methodology and tools.
- Experience in safety, and/or environmental technical standards.
- Food industry experience preferred.
