We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic Category team as the Category Development Manager responsible for leading the category insight, recommendation, and action agenda for our suppliers. This role will guide both the internal customer teams and the external Buying and Category teams to deliver opportunities that will deliver growth for the Category creating mutual benefit. The role is integral in supporting the delivery of the customers' JBP and the Weetabix Food Company budgeted financials. You will be a key member of the team working very closely with the National Account Management team delivering and aligning your customer to our winning Category Strategy, supporting our revenue growth and channel strategy.

The purpose of this role is:

  • Have full ownership, creation, and delivery of the Customer Category Strategy.
  • Support to create and deliver customers JBPs.
  • Work to ensure a collaborative virtual customer team and network (Commercial, supply etc.).
  • Co-develop, implement and support evaluation activation, promotion, and shopper marketing activities working closely with Revenue Management, Commercial & Shopper Marketing Manager.
  • Supporting in managing the internal processes to help deliver the initiatives required for Weetabix to succeed.

Requirements

Non-negotiables:

  • You will bring demonstrable experience in managing Grocery account category development across a commercial landscape.
  • You will have excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Possess the ability to plan, think on your feet and support in implementing customer recommendations effectively and aligned to both our own and customers' strategies.
  • Have insight & commercial awareness with an understanding of the bigger picture impact of category & commercial decisions.
