The purpose of this position is to lead manufacturing operations across multiple production lines, ensuring safe, high-quality and cost-effective production. Also drive performance across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale and Productivity, while embedding continuous improvement, developing team capability, and leveraging digital tools. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, environmental and ethical standards through strong governance and cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive safe, compliant operations and maintain audit-ready standards.
- Ensure product quality, food safety and right-first-time performance.
- Deliver production plans through effective scheduling and constraint management.
- Improve OEE, productivity and operational efficiency through continuous improvement.
- Control costs, reduce waste and improve material yield.
- Partner with Engineering to maximise uptime and asset performance.
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams and future talent.
- Foster an inclusive, engaged and performance-driven culture.
- Use data and digital tools to drive decisions and improve results.
- Deliver site projects, upgrades and operational change effectively.
- Maintain robust governance, documentation and contractor compliance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage risk and deliver business objectives.

Key Know How:
- Experience of leading large teams, > 6+ shift managers, 100+ front line teams & engineers.
- Change Leadership - Collaborate and influence cross-functionally, including Planning, Engineering, Quality/Technical, H&S, Procurement, NPD and Logistics, to resolve constraints, manage risk and deliver shared outcomes.
- Commercial Awareness - exposure to customer and finance interface.
- In depth knowledge of Manufacturing Operations.
- FMCG manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of HSE and food safety & quality requirements.
- Proven track record of Continuous Improvement within a previous role.
