Be a visible force on the factory floor, delivering expert Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) support, coaching, and guidance to bring our cluster manufacturing, health and safety (EHS) strategy to life. Drive high standards, ensure legal compliance, and help us achieve our vision of zero accidents and zero environmental incidents.

The Recipe (About the Role)

  • Deliver the manufacturing EHS strategy and standards across the cluster
  • Lead the internal audit programme to achieve and maintain Green status
  • Coach and support factory teams to take ownership of EHS processes, programmes, risk registers, objectives, and performance
  • Provide EHS expertise for all new projects and change management activities
  • Maintain the incident reporting system, support investigations, and drive corrective actions to eliminate root causes and prevent recurrence
  • Ensure accurate, up-to-date EHS information is available to internal and external stakeholders to support continuous improvement
  • Deputise for the Cluster EHS Manager when required

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

  • Demonstrable knowledge of EHS delivery in similar role
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • Understanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances including experience with management systems methodology and tools
  • PC literate (Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential)
  • Food industry experience preferred
  • Experience in safety, and/or environmental technical standards
  • Knowledge of conducting internal auditing processes.
