A fast-growing AI infrastructure company needs to buy large volumes of scarce, expensive hardware - quickly, commercially and without becoming dependent on a single supplier.

They need someone who already understands how this market works.

You’ll own the procurement strategy for GPU infrastructure across the business, covering:

  • GPUs and accelerated compute systems
  • Servers, racks, networking and storage
  • OEM, ODM and manufacturing partners
  • Supplier capacity, allocation and lead times
  • Commercial agreements, warranties and payment terms
  • Supply-chain resilience and deployment readiness

You’ll work closely with engineering, infrastructure, finance and operations to ensure hardware is secured at the right price, in the right volumes and at the right time.

You’ll also build the procurement function around you - introducing structure, strengthening supplier relationships and hiring additional capability as the business grows.

What they need

Direct experience procuring GPUs or accelerated compute infrastructure is essential.

You should already understand the manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and commercial models behind this market. You’ll know where the supply-chain risks sit, how allocations work and which relationships genuinely matter.

This is not a general procurement role.

Experience buying data-centre construction, colocation, facilities or indirect services alone will not be enough.

You’ll need to be comfortable negotiating major hardware agreements, challenging technical stakeholders and operating in an environment where priorities move quickly.

The role can be based in London or remotely elsewhere in the UK, with international travel expected.

If you’ve bought GPU infrastructure at scale and know how this supply chain really works, I’d like to speak with you.

Please note: This company cannot provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK and have direct, demonstrable experience procuring GPU and AI infrastructure.
