WeEngage is the exclusive recruitment partner to a leading Sustainability & Supply Chain SaaS business currently undergoing a scale-up phase.
We are looking for another Senior AE to join the commercial team. This is a "Hunter" role in the truest sense. While you’ll get support from marketing campaigns, you are expected to build, own, and close your own pipeline.
If you aren’t comfortable picking up the phone or multi-threading a complex deal without a BDR team generating your meetings, this isn’t the right fit.
The Opportunity
The business is growing at 20% YoY because they solve a mandatory problem: helping the built environment manage supply chain ESG risk. It’s a "must-have" product in a sector currently under heavy regulatory scrutiny.
- Average Deal Size: £20K – £30K
- Sales Cycle: 2-6 months
- The Goal: We need someone capable of delivering £500k+ ARR consistently
What the job actually involves:
- Self-Sourcing: You’ll be responsible for your own outbound activity. You’ll have the tools and the marketing leads, but the legwork is yours
- Navigating Complexity: You’ll be selling to Procurement, Sustainability, and Commercial Directors. You need to be able to speak their language
- Closing: Taking deals from a cold start to a signed contract within 6 months
What you need to bring:
- A proven track record of closing new business deals consistently
- 4 years+ in B2B SaaS sales
- The discipline to manage a high-quality outbound cadence without being micro-managed
- Experience in Sustainability, ESG, or Construction Tech is preferred, but your ability to hunt and close is more important
If you’ve got a track record of building your own pipeline and you’re tired of selling "nice-to-have" software, let’s talk.
