About the opportunity:
We are looking for a drafter to join our large in-house Technical Design team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to develop, design and draft 3D framing construction plans utilising our in-house software to meet client specification and construction methods. More specifically, you will:
- Undergo a structured 6-month training program to learn the systems, process and quality of work.
- Produce high-quality drafting and related documentation using CAD software.
- Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, such as engineering, construction and customer support.
- Independently manage drafting tasks to produce accurate and detailed designs, in an efficient and timely manner.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members, to further enhance the team's performance.
- Identify and resolve design issues and challenges that arise during the design and construction process.
With roles at our Edinburgh North or CBD office, you may be required to travel between the sites for training and development, team building, collaboration, and wider-business functions.
