About the opportunity

As part of NEX Building Group, at Supaloc we are Future Thinkers. Looking towards further growth, we are searching for motivated people to join our diverse team to help us build better futures for Australians.

  • Full-Time Permanent Role (38 hours/week).
  • Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays for OT).
  • Day Shift – 5:00am to 1:30pm.
  • Edinburgh location.

About the role

The Assembly Workers in our production team report to the Factory Manager and is part of the new home frame assembly manufacturing team. The key focus of this role to safely assemble steel wall frames, roof trusses and joists according to drafting plans. More specifically, you will:

  • Build and assemble using power hand tools safely to a high quality and standard.
  • Read and understand basic drawings and framing plans.
  • Manual handling, including 2-person lifts and general stacking.
  • Work collaboratively with a team, ensuring seamless coordination and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.

About you

You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent work ethic, honest, reliable and punctual.
  • Experience in the use of hand and power tools – training is provided.
  • Have a general understanding of assembly work.
  • Comfortable with high volume, repetitive work.
  • Current driver\’s licence and reliable transport.
  • Available to work Monday – Friday (occasional Saturdays) – 38 hours a week.
