As an Area Manager at WEEKDAY, you are responsible for the Brand Experience, sales performance, customer experience and overall profitability of stores across UK, France, Belgium and Luxembourg. You lead and develop the Area and Store Management Teams to ensure the area operates efficiently, compliantly and with a strong commercial focus. Working across multiple markets with different challenges, you balance strategic direction with hands‑on execution. You set clear priorities, drive results and create a people‑first environment while securing strong operational foundations and legal compliance.

What you will do

  • Execute on the global commercial plan to drive sales performance and profitability across the area.
  • Lead, coach and develop Area teams and Store Managers with clarity, energy and focus, while establishing strong ways of working to deliver results.
  • Prioritise what matters most with a business-first mindset, keeping the full CX at the centre.
  • Translate commercial goals and brand direction into clear priorities for store teams, ensuring alignment with global targets.
  • Use clear, constructive and positive feedback to grow both individuals and the business.
  • Secure an excellent customer experience through strong operations, standards, training and follow‑up.
  • Build strong stakeholder management to secure legal compliance across all markets and optimise business impact.
  • Collaborate with Visual, Commercial and Head Office teams to execute campaigns, optimise store layouts and drive selling.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity, acting on insights to strengthen performance.
  • Embody our values and leadership principles in everything we do.

What you need to succeed

  • Experience in a senior retail leadership role within an Area or multi‑store environment.
  • Business acumen: Understands the full business landscape, including financial drivers, operational challenges, and market dynamics. Navigates complexity to make informed decisions that improve sales, profitability, and overall store performance.
  • Strong communication skills: Communicates with clarity and impact across stores, teams, and functions.
  • Business strategy: Thinks ahead and sets a clear commercial direction for the area. Defines priorities, plans, and actions that strengthen competitive position, drive long‑term growth, and support consistent execution across all stores.
  • Confident communicator in English; French is an advantage but not required.
