This role is for one of the Weekday's clients. We are hiring a Head of Communications & PR to lead all external communications and position the organization—and its Founder—as category-defining leaders at the intersection of AI, automation, and real estate technology. This is a high-impact leadership role reporting directly to the Founder & CEO, with end-to-end ownership of public narrative, media visibility, and long-term reputation strategy. You will serve as the architect of the company's external voice, steward its brand credibility, and act as the primary partner to media stakeholders and external PR agencies. The role demands exceptional storytelling, sharp media instincts, and the ability to translate complex AI-driven solutions into clear, compelling, and credible narratives for global audiences.
Requirements
- External Communications & Media Relations - Own and execute the global PR and media strategy across key international markets. Lead all press communications, media interactions, interviews, and public statements. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, analysts, and industry publications. Manage and maximize outcomes from external PR agencies and partners. Own press releases, media pitches, announcements, and leadership commentary end to end.
- Brand Narrative & Messaging - Define, refine, and evolve the company's tone of voice and core messaging pillars. Ensure consistency across PR, website, product messaging, sales collateral, partnerships, and social channels. Create communication playbooks for product launches, market expansions, and major announcements. Translate complex AI workflows and automation concepts into sharp, accessible narratives.
- Founder Communications & Thought Leadership - Ghostwrite thought leadership articles, blogs, opinion pieces, speeches, and keynote content. Prepare the Founder for interviews, panels, podcasts, and public appearances. Own and shape the Founder's social presence (especially LinkedIn) through insight-driven, POV-led content. Build the Founder's profile as a global voice in AI, automation, and industry transformation.
- Crisis & Reputation Management - Design and maintain crisis communication frameworks and response protocols. Act decisively on reputation-sensitive issues with clarity and confidence. Ensure consistent, accurate, and composed messaging in high-pressure situations.
- Events, Partnerships & Case Studies - Lead communication strategy for awards, conferences, and industry events. Create press kits, media briefs, and event-specific messaging. Drive pre- and post-event narratives to maximize visibility and credibility. Shape partner announcements, customer stories, and high-impact case studies.
- Social & Digital Communications - Oversee all outward-facing communications on LinkedIn and other priority platforms. Design announcement calendars and narrative-led campaigns. Collaborate with design and content teams to maintain storytelling excellence across formats.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience - 6–12 years of experience in PR, Communications, Media, or Corporate Communications. Strong background in tech, SaaS, AI, real estate, or fast-scaling startup environments preferred. Proven experience owning PR strategy—not just execution. Experience working closely with founders, investors, or senior leadership teams.
- Skills - Exceptional writing and storytelling ability (non-negotiable). Strong media network across at least two international markets (UK, India, Middle East preferred). Ability to simplify complex technical concepts without losing credibility. Strong crisis communication instincts and composure under pressure. Comfort working across time zones and global markets. High ownership, speed, discretion, and strategic judgment.
- Traits - Sharp, confident, and precise communicator. Founder's mindset with extreme accountability. Ability to operate independently and make high-impact decisions. High emotional intelligence and strong public perception instincts.
What This Role Offers
- Opportunity to build and lead the communications function of a global AI-driven organization from the ground up.
- Direct access to the Founder & CEO and senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
- Full ownership of external narrative, media presence, and brand reputation.
- Exposure across international markets including the UK, Middle East, India, and the US.
- Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives.
- A rare chance to shape the public story of a category-defining AI platform.
