This role is for one of our clients. We are collaborating with leading AI research initiatives focused on applying artificial intelligence to complex scientific challenges in bioinformatics. The goal of this project is to build an advanced benchmark to evaluate AI model performance in executing complete bioinformatics workflows — from raw sequencing data to meaningful analysis, guided by natural language prompts. This work requires a combination of bioinformatics expertise, tool proficiency, and strong scientific reasoning. Researchers will help design benchmark tasks grounded in real-world, peer-reviewed scientific data.
Requirements
- You are a current graduate student (M.S. or Ph.D.), Postdoctoral Fellow, or Research Scientist in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
- Have hands-on experience using bioinformatics command-line tools.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail, analytical rigor, and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
