Independent Training Provider | Plymouth | £25,500-£28,750
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and growing training group at an exciting point in its journey!
With centres across Bristol, Plymouth, Exeter and Cornwall, the group is currently in the midst of an exciting period of expansion, with big plans for continued growth and development. For the right person, this is a great time to get a foot in the door, become part of the journey and grow alongside the organisation.
The group is looking for an MIS & Compliance Administrator to join the busy team in Plymouth. This is a key position, supporting the accurate management of learner and employer records, apprenticeship enrolments, achievements and funding documentation.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working with data, systems and processes, takes pride in accuracy and wants to build their career within MIS, compliance, education or apprenticeships. Previous MIS experience in the education sector would be advantageous, but my client is equally open to someone with strong administration skills, the right attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied and important workload, including:
- Managing learner enrolments, starts, withdrawals, completions and achievements.
- Maintaining accurate learner and employer records within the MIS.
- Checking documentation and ensuring records meet funding requirements.
- Supporting monthly ILR submissions, data validation and funding reconciliations.
- Identifying and resolving data discrepancies and compliance issues.
- Supporting audits, funding reviews and compliance checks.
- Working closely with curriculum and operational teams.
- Helping improve data quality, processes and administrative efficiency.
What They're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be organised, reliable and detail-focused, with strong administrative and IT skills, particularly Excel and Word, and the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.
Experience within MIS, education, training or apprenticeships would be a bonus, particularly knowledge of ILR submissions, funding compliance or learner management systems. However, attitude is just as important as experience. The organisation is looking for someone who is proactive, commercially minded, solutions-focused and keen to develop.
