WeDoData are working with a large group of independent exam centres who facilitate an extensive range of examinations including A Levels, GCSEs, IGCSEs, Functional Skills or university distance learning examinations. They are now looking for an organised, confident Lead Examinations Officer to run the day-to-day delivery of exams in the South London centre.
You’ll work closely with the Centre Manager to make sure exams run smoothly, regulations are met, and candidates have a positive experience. You’ll also lead invigilators and admin staff and be the go-to person for all things exams and access arrangements.
Responsibilities- Planning and running exam sessions in line with JCQ regs
- Managing exam admin and making sure everything is compliant
- Leading, training, and supporting invigilators and admin staff
- Being the main point of contact for exam-related questions
- Making sure access arrangements are in place and done correctly
- Supporting day-to-day centre operations and busy periods
- Experience in exams or another senior administration or a similar role
- Someone highly organised with great attention to detail
- Comfortable leading people and making decisions
- Calm under pressure and great with customers
You will be enrolled into a full training programme to get you up to speed, so constant CPD is available, and you will receive:
- A salary of £30k - £35k
- 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service)
