Payroll & Pensions Manager required for large training provider in East of England.
End-to-end payroll and complex pensions management.
Line management of 1 administrator.
Hybrid working arrangement (2-3 days WFH).
As a Payroll & Pensions Manager, you will manage both the end-to-end payroll function and the pensions schemes offered to staff. This is a key role within the People/Finance function, with responsibility for overseeing payroll operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and managing complex public-sector pension schemes.
Due to the nature of the work, it is essential that you are able to work independently to process payroll, understand HMRC requirements, and be computer literate. If you have prior iTrent experience, this will be a bonus.
You will also be responsible for the line management of the Payroll Administrator.
In addition to the salary of £42,000-45,000 per annum, my client offers a fantastic range of employee benefits including:
- Hybrid working arrangement – 2-3 days WFH (based on organisational need)
- Generous holidays: 27 days + 8 bank holidays + Christmas closure
- Excellent pension schemes (LGPS 20%)
- Free gym membership & discounted fitness classes
- Discounted or fully funded college courses
- BUPA health cash plan & occupational health services
- Subsidised on-site Costa, Starbucks & restaurants
- Free parking with EV charging
- High street & online discounts
- Free 24/7 counselling via Employee Assistance Programme
- Ongoing training & career development opportunities
Unfortunately, my client does not hold a sponsorship license, so interested candidates must hold right to work in the UK.
