About the Company
Wedo are collaborating with a FinTech startâup. The founders have an unrivalled trackârecord of scaling successful businesses, largely across the FinTech sector. This product, focusing on Wealth Management, is set to disrupt the sector and is already gathering significant traction. 3 new engineers have recently been hired, one more is required to come on board to expedite design and development. The mentality is very much own it, build it, ship it and host it. The product is in production but solution and tech architecture can still be impacted.
The Team
Circa 15 in total. One Lead engineer across both backâend and frontâend. This position reports into the CTO.
The Stack
- Java
- AWS/Heavily Microservicesâled
- Third Party API Integration
- GraphQL
- React-TypeScript (ReactâNative for mobile also)
- IaC - Terraform
The expectation
With the current team as it is, the ideal would be fullâstack engineers who are not too precious about getting stuck into the frontâend from time to time. As a startâup, there is an element of ambiguity from time to time and accountability/ownership is paramount. Platform architecture is still getting defined and a "DevOps" mindset is mandatory.
The Process
3 stages. All discussions with no take home test. Can turn around in two weeks with interview slots available within 48 hours.
