What does the client do? Embedded Finance/Fintech Scale Up

Current size and shape of team? This is a newly formed team. The team currently consists of 3 engineers. The wider organisation consists of two FinTech businesses who merged back last year. Circa 500+ headcount in total. Lots of digital transformation taking place as a result.

The Stack? The client are a huge adopter of AI best practice. Therefore, circa 60-75% of their codebase is AI driven. Adoption of these techniques will be mandatory. An agnostic mindset too. React, TypeScript, AWS, Node underpins most of the services designed and built. Data Driven integration patterns, Event-Driven Architecture experience would be a nice to have.

The stuff not on the JD? The business operate with pace and ship features quickly. They are confident and are relatively direct talking as a team. The current stage of the Digital Transformation taking place, coupled with AI taking care of most of the day to day coding puts added emphasis on individuals who are relatively creative in their approach, used to working in a product-led environment, ideally with FinTech/payments experience.
