Role
We're partnering with an AI-native software business that's redefining how enterprise AI is built.
Rather than retrofitting AI into existing products, this team was created to build AI-native solutions from the ground up.
Backed by one of the world's leading enterprise software organisations, they combine the pace and innovation of a startup with the stability, funding and customer base of a global technology business.
Having already surpassed $10m ARR within their first year, they're building AI products that solve real-world operational challenges for some of the world's largest industrial organisations.
Every solution begins with a customer problem, is rapidly prototyped, validated and then scaled across a global customer base.
This is an opportunity to build products that genuinely make an impact—not proofs of concept that never leave the lab.
Responsibilities
- Build AI agents and intelligent workflows using the latest LLM technologies.
- Develop cloud-native backend services supporting AI products.
- Design Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and context management solutions.
- Work closely with Product, Design and Data Engineering to rapidly deliver new features.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand complex business challenges.
- Build evaluation frameworks and guardrails to improve AI quality and reliability.
- Take products from prototype through to production deployment.
Required Skills
- Experience building production AI or LLM applications.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI agents and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience with vector databases, embeddings and backend APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building products.
- Comfortable working within fast-moving, high-autonomy teams.
Why should I apply?
This isn't another AI research role.
You'll be building products that are deployed into real enterprise environments, solving genuine operational challenges across manufacturing, energy, aerospace and industrial sectors.
You'll enjoy startup ownership without startup risk, working alongside experienced engineers whilst helping shape a business that's only just getting started.
If you love building, shipping and seeing your work create measurable impact, this is an opportunity you'll want to explore.

How to prepare for a job interview at WeDo
✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills
For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.
✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks
Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned.
