I am working with a large UK headquartered organisation that is mid implementation on a major ERP transformation, rolling out Dynamics 365 across Finance, Supply Chain and Commerce and currently tracking toward a go live in the next three to four months. This is very much in the build stage of the programme and they are strengthening the team as they move through final delivery and into handover. They are hiring two out of three roles within the Dynamics space. The third role is less D365 focused. Titles are flexible but the mindset they want is very much Product Owner or Delivery Lead.
- One role will focus on D365 Finance
- One will focus on D365 Supply Chain
This is not a pure own the product stream end to end position. It is about being the middle person between the business, BAU teams and D365, while the SI leads the overall delivery. Heavy on coordination, prioritisation, governance and keeping complex workstreams moving.
Some additional colour for those curious:
- UK is the flagship rollout for the global ERP programme
- They are two years into the journey
- Current SIs are supporting both UK and European teams
- UK and French programmes run in parallel
- End user or SI backgrounds both welcomed
- South West based with strong flexibility
- Ideally one to two days onsite per week
- They have made one to two days per month work for the right people
Salary up to £80k plus an extensive benefits package (20% bonus, 14% pension). If you enjoy delivery heavy environments, being the glue between teams and working on high profile enterprise programmes, this could be a cracking opportunity to land at a pivotal point in the rollout.
