The Role
- Work within a highly autonomous engineering team, securing cloud infrastructure, networks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Focus on security automation, integrating best practices into DevOps workflows.
- Harden cloud environments, VMs, containers, and IAM systems to improve security posture.
- Conduct penetration testing and collaborate with external security auditors.
- Monitor and respond to threats, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations.
- Define and implement company-wide security guidelines, with a preference for open-source tooling.
Key Skills & Experience
- Cloud Security: Strong expertise in GCP (or multi-cloud environments).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- CI/CD Security: Ability to integrate security controls into DevOps pipelines.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Rust.
