Associate Director - Contract | Microsoft Ecosystem Specialist | Dynamics 365 F&O

We’re supporting a major Dynamics 365 transformation programme and are looking for an experienced D365 Finance Consultant with deep expertise across Record to Report (R2R). This role sits within a high-performing finance workstream and will play a key part in shaping and delivering the global design.
Partner-side experience is highly desirable due to the pace, complexity, and expectations around documentation and delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead functional delivery across R2R, covering financial dimensions, GL, allocations, consolidation, fixed assets, accruals, and month-end processes
- Conduct workshops, gather and challenge requirements, and produce high-quality functional design documentation
- Configure D365 Finance in line with global template standards and programme governance
- Support testing cycles (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and cutover readiness
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including P2P, O2C, Project Accounting, Data, and Integration
- Advise on best practice and help steer a scalable, globally consistent finance solution
- Provide SME support through go-live and hyper‑care if required
What We’re Looking For
- Strong hands‑on experience as a D365 Finance Functional Consultant
- Deep knowledge of R2R processes and how they translate into D365 Finance
- End‑to‑end involvement in multiple D365 implementations
- Ability to produce clear, structured documentation (FRD/FDD/config docs/test scripts)
- Confident in running workshops with Finance SMEs and challenging requirements where needed
- Solid understanding of cross‑workstream dependencies (P2P, O2C, Projects, Data, Integrations)
Highly Desirable
- Partner / Microsoft SI background
- Experience building or following a global template
- Exposure to multi‑entity, multi‑country Finance environments
- Familiarity with Finance reporting structures (e.g., Management Reporter, Power BI)
