I’m working with a client delivering a greenfield D365 Finance global template programme across Europe. They’re looking to bring in a Senior Solution Architect to lead the discovery and design phase, setting the global template and architectural direction.
This is a finance-led Solution Architect role focused on shaping the solution and setting direction — not hands-on technical delivery. You will be responsible for:
- Leading design discussions with CFO / senior finance stakeholders
- Defining the global template, architecture, and design principles (OTB-first)
- Setting COA, dimensions, intercompany and multi-entity structures
- Establishing design governance and decision frameworks
- Supporting a multi-entity, multi-country rollout across Europe
- Working closely with functional consultants and programme leadership
What they’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a D365 F&O Solution Architect - this is not a role for a Consultant with hybrid architecture skills
- Track record delivering multi-entity, multi-country ERP programmes
- Experience leading discovery phases and defining global templates
- Ability to engage, challenge, and influence CFO-level stakeholders
- Strong bias toward standardisation over customisation
The programme:
- Greenfield D365 Finance implementation
- Global template across 20+ entities in Europe
- High-visibility programme with senior stakeholder engagement
- Initial discovery phase with longer-term delivery roadmap
Contract: Initial 3-6 months
Location: Europe (hybrid – travel for workshops)
Rate: Negotiable (outside IR35)
