NuTrade Recruitment is working with an engineering contractor based in Sheffield who carries out pipework installation works on industrial sites. We are looking for a time-served Pipefitter to join the team on a permanent basis, ideally with welding and fabrication experience on carbon and stainless pipework.
The work is predominantly around Sheffield, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, and the odd further afield project. We need someone who has a good understanding and experience of the industry, working on steam pipework, stainless and carbon steel, and able to manage a small team when required.
To be able to work under their own initiative and complete a project from start to finish, ordering materials, RAMS, permits, tool box talks etc.
Rates do depend on experience, starting from £23 per hour up to £40 per hour and x1.5 after and all day Saturday and double time Sunday. Travel is paid both ways after the first 30 minutes.
