Joiner Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble wooden structures according to specifications and drawings.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete joinery tasks.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures, including roofing and painting as required.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of joinery work within larger projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools are stored correctly after use.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Experience

• Proven experience in joinery or carpentry (1st, 2nd, and final fix) is essential.
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and joinery techniques is required.
• Experience in electrical work related to installations is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
• A strong understanding of construction processes.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid CSCS Card, with a Blue Skills Card as a minimum.
• Tools and transport.
• Checkable work history.
