You’ll work across web and app environments, supporting a wide range of clients and verticals, and partnering closely with performance marketers, analysts and data scientists. This role suits someone who enjoys complex tracking challenges, cares deeply about data quality, and is curious about how technology can be pushed further to unlock better insight and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering MarTech and tracking implementation roadmaps across a diverse client portfolio.
  • Conducting tracking and MarTech audits across web and app environments.
  • Designing measurement approaches aligned to client data and marketing needs.
  • Implementing server-side tracking and API-based measurement solutions.
  • Building and maintaining robust tracking frameworks across Ad and Analytics stacks.
  • Troubleshooting data collection issues and improving overall data integrity.
  • Working on CDP optimisations and event-based data strategies.
  • Ensuring tracking implementations meet the latest data governance and privacy requirements.

Qualifications

You’re a tracking and tagging expert with a deep understanding of digital measurement. You enjoy solving complex problems, care about precision, and are motivated by enabling others to do better work through reliable data.

Core Experience

  • Client- and server-side tracking using Tag Management Systems such as GTM or Tealium.
  • Implementation across core Analytics and Mar/AdTech platforms, including GA4 / GA360, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SA360, and social pixels (Meta, Snap, Reddit, etc.).
  • Implementation of Conversion APIs (CAPI) and Enhanced Conversions.
  • First-party data capture to support server-side and API-based tracking (e.g. click IDs, aggregated identifiers, hashed PII, device identifiers).
  • Mobile measurement using MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust or Branch, alongside app tracking technologies like SKAN, Firebase and vendor SDKs.
  • Producing post-change impact analysis strategies for tracking updates, bug fixes and measurement enhancements.
  • Consent management platforms and consent handling, including Google Consent Mode.
  • Conducting tracking audits and making clear recommendations to improve measurement accuracy.
  • Troubleshooting tracking issues across multiple platforms and environments.
  • Experience with CDPs such as Segment, and analytics tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel.
  • Configuring data pipelines for event-based data ingestion into warehouses or data lakes.

Ways of Working

  • Comfortable working with marketers, analysts, developers and clients.
  • Able to translate complex technical topics into clear, non-technical language.
  • Experience supporting attribution strategy and UTM frameworks from a tracking perspective.
  • A solution-design mindset, bringing ideas on how new technologies can improve data collection and measurement.
