The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to help lead and grow our Paid Social offering. Reporting directly into the Head of Paid Social, you’ll take ownership of advertising strategy and execution across some of our flagship client accounts, working across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Snap and Pinterest. This is a senior role with real influence - not just over client performance, but over how the Paid Social department evolves. You’ll be trusted to set direction, develop people, and help shape priorities, products and ways of working as the agency continues to scale. What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Client Leadership & Strategy
- Leading Paid Social strategy and delivery for some of the agency’s largest and most important clients
- Developing innovative, performance-driven strategies across multiple platforms and formats
- Partnering closely with senior client stakeholders to align activity with commercial objectives
- Bringing a strong bottom-funnel, activation mindset while balancing longer-term growth goals
- Using data, insight and experimentation to continuously optimise performance
- Line-managing Paid Social Managers, setting clear expectations and objectives
- Mentoring and developing your team to raise standards and capability
- Working closely with internal multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Feeding opportunities, risks and challenges back to the Head of Paid Social to help shape departmental priorities and product development
What We’re Looking For
- Core Experience & Skills
- Strong commercial experience in Paid Social advertising
- A proven performance mindset, with depth in bottom-funnel activation
- Track record of managing large Paid Social budgets (£200k–£1m+ per month)
- Ability to set strategy and execute it across multiple platforms and formats
- Strong analytical skills, with experience turning data into clear recommendations
- Confident communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing and mentoring team members
- Comfortable using analytics platforms and attribution models to guide investment decisions
- Exposure to marketing automation and dynamic creative optimisation (DCO)
- Experience working within multi-functional media teams
- Brand awareness and reach activation experience
- Experience across multiple verticals and Paid Social approaches
- Practical use of first-party data within Paid Social activity
