About us
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our busy team at South West Galvanizers based in Crediton. We are part of Wedge Group Galvanizing, a successful family‑owned business offering secure employment to its employees for over 150 years. We have 14 sites nationwide and apply corrosion protection to all the steel you regularly see around you such as street furniture, lampposts, bridge beams and even football stadiums through our galvanizing process. What’s the role?
This is a permanent contract working 40 hours Monday‑Friday between 08:30am – 16:30pm with a salary of up to £26,500 depending on experience.
- Processing site quotations, purchase invoices and credit control queries accurately within agreed timescales and highlight any discrepancies.
- Booking in of customer goods.
- Query, check and update tracking on our finance system.
- Answering phones and greeting customers.
- Collating information for weekly payroll.
- Month End Accounting.
- General ad‑hoc office duties such as printing, scanning, filing.

Administrative experience is not essential — we’re looking for someone who is a team player, organised, conscientious, and has a ‘can‑do’ attitude. Good time‑management, attention to detail, strong communication skills, a customer‑focused mindset, and the ability to multi‑task are all desirable.
