The Brand

A globally recognised British fashion brand with a distinctive identity and a loyal, style-conscious customer base operating across retail stores, eCommerce and international markets. The business is in an exciting phase of transformation, investing seriously in its data capability and committed to building a modern, self-serve analytics ecosystem that puts insight at the heart of commercial decision-making. This is a brand where data is genuinely valued at a strategic level and where the right hire will have real influence on how the organisation uses insight to grow.

The Person

They are looking for someone genuinely rare: a hybrid of Business Analyst and Product Owner who lives and breathes data. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating as the bridge between the Insights team and the Data and Engineering function, translating commercial questions from Finance, Merchandising, Ecommerce and Retail into well-structured data products that teams can actually use. They will be comfortable running discovery workshops with senior business stakeholders one day and reviewing a dbt model or semantic layer definition the next. Experience with a modern data stack, ideally BigQuery, Looker and dbt, is important, as is a genuine curiosity for how AI and emerging analytics tools are changing the way data gets delivered. A background in retail, fashion or DTC is strongly preferred; someone who instinctively understands the commercial context behind the data request.

The Role

This is a pivotal position within the Data and Analytics team, reporting into the Global Head of Transformation and working in lockstep with the Head of Insights. The role sits at the heart of Project Nova, the brand's technology-powered transformation programme, and is responsible for shaping the data roadmap, defining and governing metric definitions, translating business ambitions into technical specifications and driving adoption of self-serve analytics tools across the organisation. Day to day this means demand shaping across commercial functions, backlog ownership, user story writing, UAT oversight and acting as the key interface between the business and the Data and Engineering team. It is a role with genuine strategic influence — not just delivering what is asked for, but proactively identifying what the business needs from its data before it knows to ask.
