This is a great opportunity for a 3rd Line Systems Engineer to provide consultancy on system behaviour and performance, as well as development capability for several of the systems supporting their online trading capability.
This is a hands-on, engineering position responsible for 3rd line support and all engineering on UK systems and integrations that support online trading. You will work closely with global support teams and help correct errors and identify problems. It is critical for you to understand how dataflow and data formats relate to business concepts.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical expertise and insight on a 3rd line support basis for online trading systems and connecting integrations.
- Advise and direct 3rd parties who provide support and/or engineering services for UK managed online trading systems
- For example, data flows and data formats.
The ideal candidate is a pro-active, creative thinker with the ability to make quick decisions and prior experience working in retail.
Proven application of IT development in a modern language e.g. Java, Python, .Net.
Skills in AWS (particularly Lambda, ECS, MQ).
