We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Garage Technician to join our Heritage Team. In this role, you will support the build, maintenance, reliability, and safe transportation of our heritage vehicles and garage equipment. You’ll grow alongside a high-performing team, helping to deliver world-class performance and presentation at the very highest level of the sport. As you develop in the role, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to support the race team across the international Grand Prix calendar, experiencing the thrill of Formula 1 firsthand. Working closely with the Heritage Operations and Build teams, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of heritage events globally, supporting activities from initial preparation and build through to transportation and on-site delivery.

An HGV Class 1 License is required for the successful applicant in this role.

Role Responsibilities
  • Attend Test Events and Running Showcar Events as required by the Heritage Operations Manager.
  • Support the build, preparation, maintenance, and presentation of heritage vehicles and garage equipment.
  • Support the preparation, organisation, and packing of flyaway equipment and trucks.
  • Ensure all trucks, garages, tools, and surrounding areas are maintained and presented to a high industry standard.
  • Assist with event setup, pack down, and on-site operational support.
  • Assist with freight preparation, ensuring all required equipment is correctly packed and transported.
  • Carry out additional tasks as required to support Heritage operations and event delivery.
Requirements for the Role
  • Valid HGV Class 1 licence is essential (minimum 2 years’ experience).
  • Experience in a similar role within F1, F2, F3, Touring Cars, Grand Touring, WEC, or other professional motorsport environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a meticulous and organised approach to work.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic team player with a positive and motivated mindset.
  • Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to travel schedules, event challenges, and unforeseen circumstances.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the UK and internationally as part of the Heritage team, and in future the opportunity to travel with our Formula One Race team.
  • Comfortable with driving Left Hand Drive vehicles internationally.

This is a physically demanding role, and we take functional fitness and a positive attitude towards health very seriously. The successful candidate will train regularly with the team to maintain a suitable level of fitness to perform effectively in this position.
