Responsibilities:
- Assist delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to the Apprentices.
- Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for all new apprentices.
- Instruct and train apprentices in several welding and fabrication techniques.
- Assess apprentices' progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development and improvement.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining workshop standards.
- Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health and Safety policies to ensure optimal functionality and safety for our apprentices.
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong and competent welder/fabricator (MIG and TIG).
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check, of which the company will pay.
- Ability to work effectively and use own initiative.
- Ability to lead, manage, and train others to achieve desired results.
- Fully conversant with welding, fabrication, and ability to read engineering drawings.
