ABOUT THE ROLE:
- To follow the Inspection Plan set by the Inspection Team Leader / SHEQ Manager
- Conduct effective inspections using the equipment available in a timely manner
- Create inspection reports on all components and fabrications.
- Liaise with the Quality Engineers, where required
- Conduct monthly internal calibration of measurement equipment to the calibration schedule and maintain the calibration register and records
ABOUT YOU:
- Previous quality / inspection experience in a metal engineering manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge using the following methods - Faro arm / Hexagon arm or other, Laser tracking inspection equipment
- Knowledge and ability to use general measuring equipment effectively (Vernier, Bevel Box, Micrometre, Tape/Rule)
- Knowledge and understanding of Polyworks
- Interpretation and understanding of engineering drawings
- A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
