Responsibilities:

  • Assist delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to the Apprentices.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new apprentices.
  • Instruct and train apprentices in several welding and fabrication techniques.
  • Assess apprentices' progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development and improvement.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining workshop standards.
  • Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health and Safety policies to ensure optimal functionality and safety for our apprentices.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong and competent welder/fabricator (MIG and TIG).
  • Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check (the company will pay).
  • Ability to work effectively and use own initiative.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and train others to achieve desired results.
  • Fully conversant with welding, fabrication, and ability to read engineering drawings.
