Responsibilities:
- To read, interpret and understand engineering drawings
- Ensure all job bookings are accurately recorded
- Completing operations within allocated time
- Improve the processes where possible
- Visually inspect the components to ensure that they meet the requirements
- To undertake first off inspections where required
- To ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards as directed by the Company
- Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated and focused
- Experience setting and operating a Press Brake machine
- Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings
- Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications
- Reliable and enthusiastic
- Able to work to deadlines efficiently and accurately
- Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely
- Ability to carry out basic Maths including additions, subtractions, multiplications and division
- Good understanding of English
