Responsibilities:

  • To read, interpret and understand engineering drawings
  • Ensure all job bookings are accurately recorded
  • Completing operations within allocated time
  • Improve the processes where possible
  • Visually inspect the components to ensure that they meet the requirements
  • To undertake first off inspections where required
  • To ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards as directed by the Company
  • Any other duties that may fit into the remit of this role as and when required

Personal Attributes:

  • Self-motivated and focused
  • Experience setting and operating a Press Brake machine
  • Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications
  • Reliable and enthusiastic
  • Able to work to deadlines efficiently and accurately
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely
  • Ability to carry out basic Maths including additions, subtractions, multiplications and division
  • Good understanding of English
