Welding Instructor WEC Group Training Academy (MTL Rotherham) Salary: Neg DOE Hours of work: 37.5 Hours – Mon-Fri 7.30am-4pm Fri-7.30am-1pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Welder/ Fabricator to pass on their skills to our Apprentices. Responsibilities: * Assist delivering the Level 3 Plate Welder standard to the Apprentices. * Ensuring we have a Smooth onboarding process for all new apprentices * Instruct and train apprentices in several Welding & fabrication techniques * Assess Apprentices progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate skill development and improvement * You will assist with monitoring and maintaining workshop standards with respect. * Maintain training facilities and equipment in line with Health & Safety policies to ensure optimal functionality and safety for our apprentices What We Are Looking For: * Strong & Competent Welder/Fabricator MIG & TIG * You will be required to pass an Enhanced DBS check, of which the company will pay. * Ability to work effectively and use own initiative * Ability to lead and manage and train others to achieve desired results * Fully conversant with welding, fabrication and ability to read engineering drawings. * Ideally hold Level 3 Welding & Fabrication Company Benefits * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Genuine career progression within a rapidly expanding engineering group * Training and qualification support * Annual profit share scheme * Healthcare cash-back plan (dental, optical, physio, mental health support) * Company pension scheme * Employee support loans * Refer-a-Friend bonus £1000 * Death-in-service benefit * Discounted access to a wide variety of attractions and entertainment venues
