We are expanding our capabilities within WEC Jet Ltd and are looking for an experienced and motivated Water Jet Operator to join our growing team.
The Role: As a Water Jet Operator, you will play a key role in our production process, operating high-precision water jet cutting machinery to deliver high-quality components to our clients. This role offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic and growing division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain water jet cutting machinery efficiently and safely.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions to produce precise components.
- Carry out routine checks and maintenance on machinery.
- Monitor cutting processes and adjust settings as required to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and report any production issues to the supervisor.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Experience operating Flow waterjet experience a distinct advantage.
- Strong understanding of water jet technology, materials, and cutting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Stable career background essential.
