The Opportunity
Due to internal promotion, we’re hiring someone who can confidently take ownership of complex fabrication enquiries and turn them into profitable work.
You’ll be at the heart of the commercial process—working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to win and deliver major projects.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Producing accurate, competitive estimates from technical drawings
- Building detailed costings (materials, labour, routing)
- Liaising with suppliers and managing subcontract pricing
- Preparing and submitting quotations for high-value projects
- Supporting customers with technical queries and solutions
- Working with production and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
- What We’re Looking For
- Strong fabrication/engineering background (ideally time-served)
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and RFQs
- Experience in estimating, technical sales, or account management
- Track record of handling high-value work (circa £1M+ projects)
- Confident communicator with a commercial mindset
- (Desirable) Experience mentoring or supporting junior estimators
